How much does a psychiatrist cost without insurance?
Our self-pay rates are $250 for a 45-minute initial psychiatric evaluation and $150 for follow-up visits. We provide superbills so you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement from your insurer.

Yes. Appointments are available by secure video anywhere in Florida, or in person at our Delray Beach office.

Do you provide therapy as well as medication?
This practice focuses on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. If therapy would help, I'll refer you to a therapist and coordinate care with them.

About Dr Maryam Nouhi
I am Dr. Maryam Nouhi, a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and founder of Valor Mental Health LLC, providing compassionate psychiatric care to adults in Palm Beach County, Broward County, and throughout Southeast Florida. With over 10 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, I provide personalized psychiatric evaluations and evidence-based treatment for concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and other mental health challenges.
I believe that effective mental health care begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, understanding, and collaboration. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your treatment plan.
I earned my medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014 and completed my Psychiatry Residency at Largo Medical Center in 2018. I have also served as an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Medical Education at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where I enjoyed teaching future physicians about psychiatry.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy traveling, hiking, photography, reading, spending time with my family, and practicing yoga. These interests remind me of the importance of balance, connection, and overall wellness.
